Basecamp Bjorli

Welcome to winter wonderland

Basecamp Bjorli is a cooperation between two accommodations and four activity suppliers at Bjorli. Bjorli is a small mountain hamlet furthest north in the Gudbrandsdalen valley with about 100 year-round inhabitants, in addition to the hundreds of people that spends their holidays in this cosy village. The village lies 574 m.a.s.l. and is known to be one of the most snowy ski destinations in Norway.

The mountain skiing trail in Bjorli is a prepared ski trail – here you have views to both Reinheimen and Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Parks!

Rooms & amenities

At Basecamp Bjorli you can choose to stay in a hotel or a cabin. Bjorliheimen hotel offers affordable rooms for one, two and three persons including family rooms. Self-serviced stays are available in our new and modern cabins/apartments close to the alpine center and climbing park. The apartments have two bedrooms with space for about six people, and includes bathroom, kitchen and living room.

Traveling to Bjorli
By car

From Oslo follow E6 to Dombås, continue 55 km towards Åndalsnes on E136, Bjorliheimen hotel is located on the right side close to the E136 before you get to the roundabout at Bjorli. To get to Norwegian Cabins take the second exit in the roundabout at Bjorli and continue towards the ski center.

Public transport

Plane to Oslo Airport Gardermoen, train to Dombås railway station and change train here, train along the Rauma railway to Bjorli railway station, transportation to accommodation.
