During the winter you can snowshoe from lodge to lodge in Rondane National Park, with the time-consuming logistics taken care of by the lodges. They will transport your luggage for you, allowing you to make the most out of your adventures.

Winter wonderland at Lemonsjø

Get a taste of the true Norwegian cabin life at Lemonsjø, and spoil yourself with delicious meals from the restaurant in their main lodge. Lemonsjø is a great starting point for snowshoeing, with Viewpoint Trollhøe as the (relatively demanding) highlight of your stay here. Cross-country skiing and husky tours are also available in this area.

Hindsæter hotel dates back to 1898, and the old part of the hotel is something special. What's even more special is their great kitchen, which is considered to be one of the best places to eat in the Norwegian mountains. Add their extraordinary beer cellar (featuring Norwegian craft beers) and miles of marked snowshoe trails to the mix, and you've got yourself a perfect ending to your winter roundtrip.
