A big variety of activities

The Geilo & Hallingdal region is conveniently located half-way along the Bergen Line railway (going from Oslo to Bergen) and road Rv7, which makes Geilo easily accessible all year round. The area is perfect for people that want to experience the nature, try something new or just take a relaxing vacation at one of the exclusive spa resorts.

There are plenty of activities to choose from, and a whole nature to explore. The town Geilo is a national park village, which means that it is located close to two of Norway's major national parks: Hallingskarvet and Hardangervidda. This gives you enormous possibilities when it comes to skiing, hiking and fishing.
