Storefjell Resort Hotel is a full service resort hotel 1001 m.a.s.l. up in the beautiful Mountains of Norway. It is situated between Oslo and Bergen in Norway on Golsfjellet, right between Hallingdal, Hemsedal and Valdres. The hotel has a great restaurant famous for Norwegian Cuisine and buffet dinners.
Storefjell offers a number of activities during winter and summer like hiking, skiing, horse-riding and cycling. The tracks are marked with good signs and descriptions. The hotel location is perfect for day trips to several parks and museums showing Norwegian animals and old historic buildings. It's also possible to use Storefjell as a basecamp for day trips to several national parks like Hardangervidda, Jotunheimen and the fjords of Norway.

Storefjell Resort Hotel was built by Gunhild and Knut Nibstad in 1930. Their mountain hotel had thirty beds, and it was the beginning of what today is a large resort with 300 hotel rooms with amenities.
Today it's the third generation Nibstad, the four brothers (from the left) Knut, Hans, Arne and Lars that is countinuing the proud family traditions at Storefjell, with good help from some of their children.
