Our mountains offer a large variety of adventures to be experienced on two wheels. Ride down a single track in the mountains, follow the gravel road along Mjølkevegen or take your bike deep into the forest.

Day
1-4
Tour de Dovre

Collect your bicycle and experience the Tour de Dovre that slopes 125 km into the pristine landscape of iconic mountains and idyllic old pastures. The cycling route over Dovrefjell makes it possible to visit three national parks by bike if you take the whole route; Rondane, Dovre and Dovrefjell. Have your luggage transported and bicycle from lodge to lodge, or choose to hike between some of them.

Mjølkevegen

The Mjølkevegen route runs through beautiful mountain landscapes, and you will pass through summer farm areas. The entire route from Vinstra to Gol is at approx. 250 km, and you can pick parts of the route for your journey. You can combine this tour with hiking, swimming, fishing and visits to traditional mountain farms, and enjoy many nature- and cultural experiences.

Rallarvegen

The Rallarvegen bike route is an 80 km road leading from the mountains to the fjords along the Bergensbanen and Flåmsbanen railway lines. This historic route is not only a spectacular bike ride, taking in stunning mountain and fjord landscapes, but also a journey through history.

Train, bus and bike

Travel like the locals

During these fourteen days, you can get around by public transportation. Hop on the train in Oslo and head for the Dovre region where you'll bike Tour De Dovre. From there you can connect to Mjølkevegen by bus and local shuttles, before continuing to Geilo by train. After you have finished Rallarvegen in Flåm, you can easily take bus to Oslo. A perfect roundtrip.
